Despite the death and destruction already wreaked by Harris’s crisis, we are still learning the true scale of the devastation. Many crimes go unreported to law enforcement or by the media. Horrifyingly, below is only the beginning of how Harris’s crisis is hurting people in Texas.

In June 2024, a 12-year-old girl was raped and strangled to death by two Venezuelan nationals who crossed into the U.S. illegally this year and were caught and released by Border Patrol
In February 2024, a twice-deported criminal illegal immigrant tailgated four teenagers who were driving home from bowling and fired shots into their vehicle, killing one and injuring two others.
In February 2024, an illegal immigrant was indicted on capital murder charges in a cheerleader’s beating, stabbing death.
In December, an illegal immigrant was charged with murdering a 16-year-old girl in her home and sent texts to her friends using her stolen phone after her death.
In November, “a 15-year-old smuggler” with five illegal immigrants in the car led cops on a wild chase that reached speeds of nearly 150mph.
In October, two illegal immigrants were arrested after leading Texas DPS on a high-speed car chase that reached speeds of 90 mph+ and nearly struck a school bus.
In September, an illegal immigrant who came into the U.S. under the Harris-Biden administration was charged with the murder of an American citizen.
In early September, Dallas police got in a shootout with an illegal immigrant, with an officer getting injured, after witnessing the immigrant shoot and kill his roommate in broad daylight.
In August, several people, including a child, were injured when a driver smuggling illegal immigrants wrecked into two vehicles while attempting to evade police.
In mid-August, Guatemalan national Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez allegedly raped and strangled 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez in Pasadena, Texas.
In June, a high-speed chase of a stolen tractor trailer – with the suspect driving through neighborhoods, striking stop signs and an electrical post – led to the discovery of 18 illegal immigrants hidden in the back.
In April, a pickup truck carrying 12 illegal immigrants rolled over during a high-speed chase – with seven managing to get away.
In April, a human smuggler attempted to run over a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper during a chase that reached speeds of nearly 120 mph.
In March, a human smuggler transporting 11 illegal immigrants attempted to flee cops, reaching speeds of 105 mph before crashing into another vehicle, killing a 7-year-old girl and her grandmother.
